Disco Knitting w/ electric knitting needles

With the help of my friend, The Junkyard Catalyst (TJC), we created electric knitting needles.  TJC created the breakout box and did all the real work I was just the idea person.  I’m not exactly sure where this piece is going but I wanted to transform the act of knitting.  Knitting to me is a quiet, contemplative, productive activity. By sawing off the ends of the needles in order to create input jacks this activities is now ambiguous and filled with white noise.
