“A Breath of Fresh Air” for the PICU at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital

This past spring 14 students at the University of Cincinnati and I created 11 paintings/collages for the family waiting room areas at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Cincinnati’s Children’s Hospital.  These are areas where families of patients spend hours, even days, waiting for updates and information on their loved ones.  The artwork we created aims at alleviating the stress and heaviness for these families in their long wait for information and news. This series is entitled “A Breath of Fresh Air”.
