In Progress: Glop Boxes

For the second phase of my thesis work I’m focusing my tchotchke/collecting research on my father.  He likes to collect food and create “interesting” leftover casseroles.  I’m translating that into ceramics and into time capsules that I’m calling Glop Boxes.

I’m creating box molds that I will then layer and combine glazes and clay (fired and unfired) in to the box.  Then it’s just a matter of chemical reactions and we’ll see what happens.
